Kool-Aid Playdough

3 Cups Flour

1/2 Cup Salt

3 Tablespoons Oil

1 Tablespoon Alum

2 Packages Kool-Aid

2 Cups Boiling Water

Mix and Knead Together.

 
     
     
     

 

Fingerpaint

3 Tablespoons Sugar

1/2 Cup Cornstarch

Medium Saucepan

2 Cups Cold Water

Muffin Tin or Small Cups

Spoon

Food Coloring

Soap flakes or liquid dishwashing detergent

Mix sugar and cornstarch in a medium saucepan over low heat. Add cold water and continue stirring until the mixture is thick. Remove from heat. Divide the mixture into four or five portions, spooning them into sections of a muffin tin or small cups. Add a drop of food coloring and a pinch of soap flakes or a drop of liquid dishwashing detergent to each portion. Use a different color for each cup. Stir and let cool. Puppy Chow

2 Squares of Chocolate

1 Stick Oleo

1 (13 oz.) Box Crispix

12 oz. Package of Chocolate Chips

1 1/2 Cups Peanut Butter

3 Cups Powdered Sugar

Melt together chocolate, chocolate chips and oleo. Add peanut butter. Pour over Crispix. Stir well. Put into a large brown paper bag. Add powdered sugar. Shake well!

 
     
     
     
 

Peanut Butter Clay

1 (18 oz.) Jar of Peanut Butter

6 Tablespoons of Honey

Powdered Milk

Raisins, Chocolate Chips, etc.

Mix together peanut butter and honey, adding enough powdered milk to make a good modeling consistency. Decorate with raisins or chocolate chips. Children can play with it and make fun shapes and then eat them when they're done. (It's the one time it's OK to play with their food!)

 
     
     
     
 

Scotcheroos

1 Cup Sugar

1 Cup Peanut Butter

1/2 Package of Chocolate Chips

1 Cup Light Corn Syrup

6 Cup Rice Krispies

1/2 Package of Butterscotch Chips

Bring sugar and syrup to a boil in a 3-quart saucepan. Remove from heat; blend in peanut butter. Mix in cereal. Press into buttered 9x13-inch pan. Melt chips and spead over the bars. Cut when firm.

 
     
     
     
 

Knox Blox

4 (3 oz.) Packages Any Flavor Jello

4 Packages Knox Gelatin

4 Cups Boiling Water

Mix together Jello and Knox gelatin in large bowl. Add the boiling waterand stir until dissolved. Pour into 9x13-inch pan and refridgerate until firm. Cut into small squares.

 
     
     
     
 

Gingerbread Boys and Girls

1 Cup Margarine (Soft)

1 Cup Sugar

1 Egg

1 Teaspoon Vinegar

4 1/2 Cups Flour

2 Tablespoons Soda

1 Teaspoon Cloves

1/4 Teaspoon Salt

1 Cup Molasses

Raisins

Cream margarine and sugar. Mix in egg and vinegar. Stir in flour, soda, cloves, salt with molasses. Chill overnight. Bake 375* for 8 minutes. Makes 2-3 dozen, depending on the size of cookie cutter or 1 BIG gingerbread man.

 
     
     

 

George Washington's Dessert

2 Cans of Cherry Pie Filling

1 Package of White Cake Mix (Dry)

2/3 Cup of Butter

Steps:

1. Grease the Pan.

2. Spoon Cherries into the Pan.

3. Sprinkle Cake mix over the Cherries.

4. Pour Melted Butter over the Cake Mix.
